ABOUT GABRIEL
Gabriel is a professional engineer currently working full-time as a GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) Engineer, as well as an AI Researcher for Autonomy and Robotics at Lockheed Martin. He is constantly wanting to expand his skill set, take on the next big challenge, and become a leader in any role he performs. Thus, he was selected in 2019 as 1 of approximately 25 high-performing entry level engineers from all of Lockheed Martin Space to join a 3-year rotational program, Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Through ELDP, Gabriel has worked in Mission Software, Propulsion, and Structure Design, quickly becoming a key contributor in his 1 year rotations. Prior to Lockheed, Gabriel interned for General Electric (GE) Oil & Gas and Phillips May Corporation (PMC).
Gabriel obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and is currently on track to graduate from Stanford University with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics in 2022. During his studies, Gabriel worked on numerous incredible projects that constantly pushed him to grow and establish himself as a strong candidate for graduate studies.
