Lockheed Martin Space
As a Structure Design Engineer for Lockheed’s Bus Center of Excellence (COE), I design metallic and graphite/epoxy composite panels, as well as secondary structure components for LM2100 series satellites. My main responsibility is being the structure delegate for the U.S. Air Force program Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS), providing capabilities of missile warning, missile defense and battlespace characterization.
I currently lead a team of SBIRS designers in creating optimized solutions for thermal environments, stress considerations, and manufacturability of various structure subsystems ranging from sun sensors, thruster support assemblies, and much more. I have also designed components for programs such as GPS-III, Arabsat, & Hellas-Sat.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide any images of my direct work due to being Lockheed Martin Proprietary/Export Controlled Information.
